Inatur Herbals Aloe Vera Gel

Today I am gonna talk about a product which is called Plant of Immortality by Egyptians because of endless benefits. Yes, this is nothing else but our very own Aloe Vera which is found in every house.
Inatur Aloe Gel is my second try after I have  tried their Charcoal Face Mask, you can read more it here.

Let's come back on what we were talking. Yes I know that it aloe vera works great on irritated skin and relieves itchiness but not in my case. My skin is very sensitive and get itchy and irritated after using aloe vera in any form, so I always try to avoid it. So my sister decided to use it on my behalf and try to share her genuine opinion about the product.

About product - This is organic, safe and unscented aloe vera gel and can be used to treat sunburn, soothe irritated skin and moisturise normal skin.

Ingredients - Purified Water, Aloe Vera Gel, Glycerine, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, DMDM Hydantoin, Xanthan Gum, E.D.T.A

Effect and Feel- This is colourless and unscented aloe vera gel which is thick in consistency. It feels little heavy and sticky at first, while its sticky texture fades within 10-20 minutes, its heaviness will stay for a long time, which is complete no-no. It's unscented formula and organic feature are the only two things which is keeps it alive. My sister doesn't have sunburn or any other skin issues, so can't comment on that points. Yes it makes your skin moisturized, even a small amount is enough to cover a large area, but if you have dry skin you should try something else as it doesn't work as moisturiser for dry skin type.

Packaging-  It comes in a crystal clear plastic tub packaging with all the necessary information on label. It has twist up mechanism to open up. The tub is so sturdy that there is no chance of leakage and you can keep it easily in your handbag.

Pro's

1. Organic, unscented and safe for babies too.
2. Enriched with 100% pure aloe vera.
3. Label has all the information.
4. Sturdy plastic packaging.

Con's

1. It is pricey, I mean aloe vera gel for 550 Rs for 100 gms.
2. Less offline availability.

Overall View
This aloe vera gel doesn't do wonders but if you are too lazy to peel off and use natural aloe vera, this can be your pick.

Chaas Handmade Soap by Sand Soapaholics

Soaps are usually boring but if it is handmade and has some different fragrance rather than regular chemical soaps which is widely available in market, I would like to try it. Sand Soapaholics is a brand which is providing wide range of handmade soaps. The attractive soaps are made on customisable orders too. You can contact them on their fb page or Instagram for that. Chaas soap is one the soaps from their available range.

What attracts attention-  Handmade soaps has always been so exciting and whenever I get a chance to try something new in soaps, I am always ready.

Size/Weight- 75gm (If you buy soaps in-store, the minimum quantity is 75gms and there is no upper limit. And if you buy soaps via their website, the quantities are as specified (100gm, 200gm, and 500gm), however larger quantities are definitely possible. Effect and Feel- This soap has no definite shape as it is handmade and handcut it can vary. It is off white in color with sesame seeds at bottom. The fragrance is mild and gentle and all I can say that it is just heavenly. I am absolutely in love with its fragrance. This soap is enriched with the goodness buttermilk, almond and sesame oil with sweet smell which gently cleanses skin with leaving it dry.

Packaging-  It comes in a simple transparent plastic wrapping with weight, soap name, mfg and expiry date mentioned on it. I think packaging can be better definitely. I have tried many handmade soaps and their packaging is much better than this with all the necessary information on it.

Pro's

1. Has goodness of sesame oil, almond oil and buttermilk.
2. Aroma is sweet and mild.
3. Available in desired sizes, starting from 75gms.
4. Leaves skin clean and soft without drying it out.

Con's

1. Contains SLS.
2. Packaging doesn't have all the necessary information on it.
3. Less offline availability


Overall View
I would like to suggest you to try it once, if you are okay with SLS in the ingredients list and want something mild and gentle which cleanses your skin without leaving it dry.

Pure and Clear Skin with Charcoal Face Mask by Inatur Herbals

What attracts attention-  Charcoal Mask is the new thing for me, I have never ever tried.

About product - A deeply cleansing and purifying mask that helps to detoxify and purify the skin. It gently removes all the skin impurities and is especially beneficial for removal of tan from the skin.

Ingredients - Refer to the image given below.

Effect and Feel- The texture of mask is like mud paste, which is thick in consistency. The color is not so black but dark grey. Usually face pack leaves no residue after cleaning with simple water, but this is different. I find it little hard to clean it with water only, you need face wash too for clear skin. After effects are satisfactory, my skin was feeling soft, supple, clean and moisturised. The fragrance is soothing and mild, it's fragrance is somewhat similar to fennel.  As it suggests you to keep it for 15 mins, but I keep it on my skin for little extra time to make it completely dry. As there is no tannimg issues with me, so I cannot comment on that. The tub lasts upto 7-8 usages.(varies from person to person)

Packaging-  It comes in a transparent tub packaging with label has all the necessary information on it. Brand and product name along with how to apply instructions is also on the label. Tub packaging is not hygienic, so I always wash my hands before using any product on my face.

Pro's

1. Easily available.
2. Gives you soft, supple and clean skin.
3. Free from Parabens and Sulphates.
4. 100% vegan and cruelty free product.
5. All the necessary information is on label except weightage info.

Con's

1. Leaves residue if you are cleaning it off with plain water only.



Overall View

This charcoal mask is great option to detoxify and purify your skin. It has charcoal in it which deeply cleanses your skin, Basil keeps skin fresh and helps in controlling oil, neem extracts helps in avoiding pimples and relieves skin and lemon oil save your skin from drying out.
Highly Recommended.

Effect and Feel- This cleanser has gel based formulation, which is honey brown in color. The fresh aroma of manjistha and mace(javitri) gives you instant freshness. It doesnt produce lather as it is soap free and made with natural ingredients which deeply cleanses the skin leaves a clear glowing skin. As it works well and does the purpose as it was expected to be, I am okay with its non lather formula. My skin feel soft and supple from very first use.

Packaging-  It comes in a pump dispenser brown color bottle with a crystal clear cap on the top. Label has all the information on it. Packaging is one of the best till I see, reason you wanna know? It is totally biodegradable. I would be more happy if it comes with a sturdy cap which could keep it safe from spilling while travelling, and the bottle should come in a transparent packaging, so that I could check how much is left.

Pro's

1. Cruelty free and vegetarian product, plus it's eco friendly packaging
2. Comes in a pump, convenient to use.
3. Fresh aroma of manjistha and mace lingers on.
4. Deeply cleanses and keep oil at bay for good 5-6 hours.
5. Paraben free and SLS free.

Con's

1. It is high on price note.
2. Cap is not durable.
3. Not travel friendly packaging.


Overall View
I feel the price factor is high which makes it less approachable for many, but I would like to add if you are big fan of ayurvedic products and love using natural products on your skin instead of high end products made with lots of toxins then you should give it try.
Recommended.

Tip- This is for normal to oily skin type and I have combination skin type. This works completely well with my skin, even those who have dry skin can also try but I suggest you to apply moisturiser after every use.
