Iraya's Miraculous Elixir Oil - Kumkumadi Facial Oil

Hope all are you doing well, this post is going to be about Kumkumadi Oil by Iraya Wellness. Iraya has divided it's complete product range into four - Spa, Botanicals, Ayurveda and Bath. (For more info click here) Let me give you a brief introduction first, if you don't know much about Kumkumadi Facial Oil. Basically Kumkumadi Oil is type of facial oil which is made up of saffron and other precious herbs which helps in even out skin tone, works as anti aging, reduces fine lines and to keep skin naturally glowing.

I have never used any kind of facial oil in the past and I am also too sceptical about using something on face. And using something like facial oil is quite scary, but everyone in the beauty world is going ga-ga about Kumkumadi Oil, so finally I decided to give it a try.

What attracts my attention-  It is made up of natural ingredients which made me feel little comfortable to use this.

Ingredients - Cow's Milk, Sesame Oil(Sesamum Indicum), Rice Bran Oil(Oryza Sativa), Rose Water(Rosa Centifolia), Saffron(Crocus Sativus), Sandalwood(Santalum Album), Lodh Tree Bark(Symplocos Racemosa), Red Sanders Wood(Pterocarpus Santalinus), Coomb Teak(Adina Cordifolia), Vetiver(Vetiveria Zizanoides),  Manjishta(Rubia Cordifolia), Liquorice(Glycyrrhiza Glabra), Lotus seed(Nelumbo Nucifera), Turmeric(Curcuma Longa), Indian Barberry (Berberis Aristata), Cobra Saffron (Mesua Ferrea), Flame Of The Forest (Butea Menosperma),Priyangu (Callicarpa Macrophylla), Banyan(Ficus Bengalensis), Mustard (Brassica Campestris),Ginger (Zingiber Zerumbet), Essential Oils of Bergamot and Lavender. Effect and Feel- This facial oil is golden yellow in color and it's light texture made it easy to apply and absorb. This is thin in consistency, it has fragrance similar to heena oil hehe😉.. I can't define it's fragrance much better than this. The aroma of the oil fades away within 5 mins of application. To cover the complete face and neck area, you need just 3-5 drops. I have a combination skin type in winters, but I find oil traces on face too in summers. My skin doesn't break out after using it in winters and summers too. After using it for more than 2 months, what actually I notice is my skin looks more healthier, it retains the natural glow which I lost post delivery. No whitening affect or brightening effect, but I like that dewy glow. Dark circles are still there, but I have noticed a slight change in its intensity.

Packaging-  It comes in a navy blue color
glass bottle with dropper too which helps in getting the right amount as per choice and keeps it away from wastage. Label has all the necessary information on it. All I can say is that the glass packaging with dropper depicts no wastage and keeps it totally hygienic.

Pro's
1. Gives you healthier and natural glowing skin.
2. It has natural ingredients.
3. No break out.
4. Packaging has all the information and dropper helps in getting right amount to use.
5. Lasts for more than 2 months.
6. Dark circles are slightly faded now.
7. Usually Kumkumadi Facial Oil comes in almost same or higher range, so I can't say this is pricey. The bottle lasts for more than 2months.

Con's

1. As it is a glass bottle(you need to handle it with care), it is not travel  friendly.
2. Less offline availability.
3. No whitening or brightening effect.
4. Doesn't work as anti-wrinkle or on fine lines

Overall View
This is a good option if you are trying out facial oil for the first time. It is made up with 100% natural ingredients. And this oil absorbs quickly because of its thin consistency.

Bonorganic French Creme Rosa

Hope everyone is doing well and I m good too. This time I have come up again with another organic and natural brand. In Northern India many people are not aware of this brand called Bonorganic, but it is more popular in Southern India. Basically this is manufactured in Tamilnadu.
Bonorganics has a wide range of products in different departments. They have shampoos, soaps, creams, handwash, face wash, insense sticks etc. And I am going to review their French Creme Rosa here. This is a cream with all the natural ingredients.

What attracts my attention- Roses and other natural ingredients which is safe to use.

Price - 395 INR
Weight / Size - Original product is 25gm but including packaging 100gm
Best Before - 23 months from the date of manufacturing

Ingredients - Basically all the natural ingredients available for more details refer to the pic shown below.

Texture and Effect- This French Creme is extremely fragrant. I found the fragrance is much like a mix of roses plus betel, which is very soothing and relaxing. The texture feels little heavy and sticky at first but as you massage it on your skin, it becomes light and completely absorbed into the skin and leaves a pleasant fragrance behind with soft and moisturized skin. And it stays up to 5-6 hours.

Packaging - It comes in a crystal clear cube shaped glass jar with black lid on it. It has twist and open mechanism with all the necessary details at the bottom. There is another leak proof lid of plastic inside it to protect it from any spill.

Pro's

1. All the natural ingredients included, which is safe to use.
2. Online and offline availability.
3. Fragrance is soothing and relaxing which gives you fresh feel all the time.
4. It makes your skin moisturized and soft.
5. Necessary details are mentioned on the product.
6. Glass jar makes it more hygienic and keeps it away from any contamination.
7. Infused with goodness of different essential oils and rose petals.

Con's

1. Packaging is not durable and heavy too due to glass container, handle with care.
2. This might be expensive for few, I means 395 INR for 25gms is not affordable at all.
3. I feel offline availability is less in comparison to Southern part of India.

Overall View

If you are an organic products lover and price is not an issue for you, you can give it a try. It is definitely a safer option with cooling properties. I really liked it.

Tip- Applying creams at night is as necessary as applying cream in day time. Keep it moisurized all the time.
